1. Submit an online application on our career site. You will need to attach your resume and some relevant documents (approx. 15 mins)
2. Complete online assessments (approx. 1-2 hours, dpending on the no. of assessments required to be completed for the role)
3. If you have done well for your assessments, a recruiter will contact you to arrange for an interview with the hiring manager
4. Successful applicants can expect to be contacted by a recruiter, where a formal offer will be extended.

We generally take a week to process your application. Thereafter, you will be required to go through various rounds of selection, including online assessments and interview(s). The entire selection process will take approx. 2 - 4 weeks, and you will be notified at every stage of the process.

The online assessments are a means for us to understand your strengths, preferences and abilities. Depending on the role that you have applied for, you may have to complete tests such as verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and logical thinking.

Yes, the online assessment is a mandatory component of the selection process, to enable us to better understand your competencies and strengths.

The salary of cabin crew varies monthly according to the number of flying hours. The estimated monthly gross salary is approx. S$3000 and increases as you progress in your career!

We have an accelerated career progression for extraordinary Scootees! Scootees can look forward to being promoted to a Complex Leader in 3 years and potentially a Crew-in-Charge in another 3 years!

You will need to be based in Singapore for the job and will need to find your own housing and accomodation.

Our Scootees work on a roster basis where they are published a month in advance so our Scootees can find out their reporting date, time and which country they will be flying to!

As there are no fixed working hours/schedule, it will be dificult to have part-time studies while flying.

- Minimum age of 18 years old
- For safety and security reasons, females should be at least 158cm and males should be at least 165cm.
- You should have least 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits including English, or 5 GCE ‘N(A)’ level subject passes with at least a Grade 3 in English.
- For Malaysian qualification at SPM level, you will need to have at least 3 credits including English.

Yes! All cabin crew will undergo a rigorous training program for 2 months to prepare them for scenarios that can happen onboard!

If you follow through the timeline, you will be able to know your application outcome in about 3 weeks!

Sure, as long as your scar/tattoo is not visible while you're donning the Scoot uniform. If you are unsure, you can clarify in your application for further assessment.

There will be no cost or bond if you're coming in as a type-rated pilot.

Yes, once you have accepted the offer with us, our HR team will apply for a work pass for you. It takes approx 3-4 weeks to be approved and has to be approved before you join us. The work pass application cost will be borne by Scoot.

You may do so, but this is dependenet on the type of work pass that the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) issues to you.

We will help to apply for a Dependent's Pass for you to bring your spouse and children to Singapore, if MOM grants you an Employment Pass.

Scoot does not provide housing or education arrangements for our flight crew and their family. You will have to make your own arrangements.

A Scoot rep will assist in reviewing your documents, booking your License Conversion appointment with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), and attending the License Conversion appointment with you.

The processing and approval will take between 2 to 4 weeks after you have submitted your documents to CAAS.

Foreign License Conversion costs will be borne by candidates.
The cost of Foreign Licence Conversion Assessment Fee is $345.00 and Application For Validation of Foreign Flight Crew Licence is $72.00.

Yes, we accept non type-rated direct entry Captains and First Officers. However, if you are not type-rated, you will be subjected to a co-payment of the training cost as well as a training bond of 5 years. For the training bond, you are required to get a surety or banker's guarantee.

You can apply 6 months from the date that you received the email stating that you were unsuccessful.

Unfortunately, specific reasons will not be shared.

Assessment Centre Enquiries

Assessment Centres based in Singapore are usually held twice a month. You will be able to view the upcoming dates of our Assessment Centres on our career site.
Occasionally, we will also hold Assessment Centres overseas, so do check by frequently to get updated.

Scoot does not provide any transport or accommodation arrangements for candidates that are attending the Assessment Centre. This will be arranged by candidates.

We do hold Assessment Centres overseas from time to time. This is however done on an ad hoc basis, whenever we have sufficient interest in a particular region.

Scoot's Cadet Pilot Program is a customised, co-funded Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) training course that will take between 18 to 20 months. Completion of the course will equip you with a MPL or "frozen" ICAO ATPL.

Upon graduation of the cadet program, you will undergo training in Scoot to ensure that you will be full-equiped with the essential skills and knowledge to fly our B787 or A320 aircraft.

It is a co-sponsored programme and the estimated upfront cost borne by the candidate is approximately S$150,000.

Scoot does not provide financial relief. However, if you wish to take up a bank loan to fund the program, and we are can recommend some options in Singapore.

• Minimally 18 years old (as required by regulations in Air Navigation Order).
• Legally entitled to work in Singapore upon completion of training.
• GCE 'O' level and above. A minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE 'O' level or its equivalent at one sitting. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics.
• Qualify for Class I & II unrestricted medical certification as approved by the Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).
• Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind.
• Be able to commit to a period of 18 months of consecutive training with no disruption.
• Physically and mentally fit.

You have to minimally be 18 years old. For male applicants, you should apply only after you have completed National Service.

There will be a training bond of 6 years, which starts from the date you complete your MPL cadet program and become a Scoot employee. For the training bond, you are required to get a surety or banker's gurantee.

Once we receive your application and verify that you have met our requirements, we will send you a series of online assessments to complete. Once you pass this stage, you will then be invited to attend our Assessment Centre. On the Assessment Centre day, you will also be required to complete a video interview by end of day. If you are successful after the Assessment Centre, you will then be invited for a face to face interview. The entire process will take approximately 3-6 months.

You can apply 6 months from the date that you received the email stating that you were unsuccessful.

Specific rejection reasons will not be revealed.

Scoot’s Cadet Pilot Programme is an MPL Programme, which means that switching over to our cadet programme would be subjected to the approval of both CAAS as well as our training organisations. Alternatively, you might be required to re-start the programme from the start and bear the same cost as our other cadets.

Assessment Centres and Interviews are usually held twice a year, so don't worry if you don't hear back from us immediately! We will inform applicants of the Assessment Centre details once it is confirmed.

We are able to hold your application for 6 months and allow you to attend the next session. However, if the next Assessment Centre is more than 6 months away, you may be required to re-apply.
