In keeping with our philosophy of giving you maximum choice, our basic fare, Fly, is perfect for those of you travelling with just cabin baggage because it does not include any checked baggage allowance. Our other fare bundles, FlyBag, FlyBagEat and ScootBiz come with 20kg checked baggage allowance.

In the meantime, here's some important information:
Make sure your cabin baggage does not exceed the permitted allowance, or you will be advised to check in your baggage at the check-in counter or boarding gate, and be subject to applicable excess baggage fees at the airport!
You are encouraged to pre-purchase your checked baggage allowance. Don't be caught with your pants down at the airport! If you exceed your checked baggage allowance, you will be charged for every kg in excess, so avoid expensive airport fees by buying in advance!
With an extra 7kg cabin baggage allowance, you can keep calm and carry on!
Our Extra Cabin Bag option lets you bring purchase an extra 7kg cabin baggage allowance, in addition to the standard 10kg allowance. Now you can bring up that extra bag of travel essentials or shopping loot on your flight, skip the waiting time at baggage claim, and be one of the first people out of the airport!
Simply pre-purchase Extra Cabin Bag when booking your flight online, at a small fee of S$20 (flights under 5 hours) / S$35 (flights over 5 hours), or equivalent in local currency.

Regardless of whether you're connecting to another Scoot flight or a partner airline flight, your checked baggage will not be checked through to your final destination. It is your responsibility to collect your checked baggage from the arrival baggage belt, clear immigration, proceed to check in for your onward connecting flight, and re-check your baggage.
The only exception is if you have purchased Scoot-Thru, which is available for Scoot and Tigerair connections. Find out more here.
Sports equipment, infant equipment and musical instruments may be checked in as part of your checked baggage allowance, subject to size restrictions and space availability. Refer to our Conditions of Carriage for more information.
